Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment while troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues. Operate motorized vehicles and adhere to all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations. Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring the ability to lift 50 lbs, work in extreme temperatures, and operate in elevated or confined spaces. This role includes overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts. A valid Millwright License and legal entitlement to work in Canada are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Valid Millwright License
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
- Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Able to work in confined spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Welding certification or other trade experience
- Forklift certification
- Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
- Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
