Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues while operating motorized vehicles. Adhere to all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations during daily tasks. Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment involving elevated areas, confined spaces, and extreme temperatures. This role requires a valid Millwright License, legal entitlement to work in Canada, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. You must be available for overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts, including 1st or 2nd shifts. Pay ranges from $41.50 to $45.00 per hour for this full-time position in London, ON.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Valid Millwright License
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
- Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Able to work in confined spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Welding certification or other trade experience
- Forklift certification
- Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
- Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
