Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues while operating motorized vehicles. Adhere strictly to all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations during elevated work (4 feet and above) and confined space tasks. Maintain valid Millwright License and legal work authorization in Canada. Shifts available include 1st or 2nd, with overtime, weekends, and holidays required. This hands-on role supports food production at Cargill's London facility, connecting farmers with markets through essential industrial products.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Valid Millwright License
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
- Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Able to work in confined spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Welding certification or other trade experience
- Forklift certification
- Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
- Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
