Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues. Operate motorized vehicles and equipment while adhering to all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations. Work in a fast-paced food production environment, handling tasks that may involve elevated areas, confined spaces, and extreme temperatures. This hands-on role supports safe and efficient operations at Cargill's London facility, where you will maintain critical equipment for food production.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Valid Millwright License
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
- Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Able to work in confined spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Welding certification or other trade experience
- Forklift certification
- Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
- Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
