Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment while troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues. Operate motorized vehicles and equipment, adhering strictly to all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations. Work in elevated areas and confined spaces, handling tasks that require lifting 50 lbs and operating in extreme temperatures. This hands-on role supports food production operations at Cargill's London facility, with availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must hold a valid Millwright License and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Valid Millwright License
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
- Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Able to work in confined spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Welding certification or other trade experience
- Forklift certification
- Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
- Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
