Job Summary
Conduct daily preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery across three shifts to minimize downtime. Visually inspect equipment, remove defective parts, and fabricate repairs using machine shop instruments while maintaining documentation in the work order system. Operate mobile equipment like forklifts and elevated platforms, ensuring pre-use inspections and lockout/tagout procedures are followed. Report hazards, incidents, and operational problems to supervisors immediately while complying with ISO, HACCP, and safety regulations. Maintain a clean working environment and adhere to all plant rules.
Required Qualifications
- 433A Certified Licensed Industrial Millwright Mechanic/Technician
- Minimum 1-year previous experience in a manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of PLC's, wiring, legislated standards
- Troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees
- Candidates who are 18 years or older
- Complete a criminal and background check
