Job Summary
Licensed Millwright role at Sofina Foods Inc. in Burlington, Ontario. Maintain and repair mechanical equipment in a pork processing facility, perform PMs/PDMs/CM and work orders, install equipment, and handle repair/troubleshooting across conveyors, pumps, grinders, welding equipment, lathes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and packaging equipment. Must be TIG proficient, work in a team, adhere to GMP rules, manage inventory and labor in a computerized maintenance program, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with physical requirements. Overtime opportunities and full benefits after 6 months.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a 433A
- Must be a proficient TIG welder
- Must be able to communicate and understand English
- Must have their own tools
- Must have experience as a Millwright
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment, repetitive tasks, and ability to stand for extended hours
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to work in Canada
