Job Summary
Deliver outpatient mental health care as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist on the Columbia Mental Health team. Provide outpatient individual and family therapy, conduct culturally sensitive assessments, and develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans. Engage in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning; ensure timely billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and administrative staff to deliver holistic care. Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Current and active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or be eligible for licensure by time of hire
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in mental health
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary team to enhance client care
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Experience in outpatient therapy settings and case management
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks
