Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapist providing outpatient individual and family therapy; conducts culturally sensitive assessments; develops crisis, safety, relapse, and wellness plans; participates in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning; collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and dietitians; manages billing and documentation; requires a master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field and an active license (or eligible) by hire; benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage and retirement options; base compensation described as per billable unit; location Port Washington, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Must hold a current and active professional license in Pennsylvania or be eligible for licensure by the time of hire
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently
