Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Virtual) — Fully licensed clinicians at Master’s level or above with LMHC, LPCMH, LIMHP, LMFT, LMFTS, LCMFT, LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LCPCS, LPCC-S, LCSW, LICSW, or LCSCW licensure are invited to join Headway’s network. The role supports launching or expanding a private practice by accepting insurance, with credentialing in multiple states within about 30 days. The platform provides in-network access to plans including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid, built-in EHR features, scheduling, secure client messaging, end-to-end documentation templates, built-in assessments, and more. Providers receive predictable bi-weekly payments and can pursue free continuing education CEUs through Headway Academy. The posting notes that Headway cannot support professionals who aren’t fully licensed at this time.
Required Qualifications
- Fully-licensed Mental Health Therapist with LMHC, LPCMH, LIMHP, LMFT, LMFTS, LCMFT, LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LCPCS, LPCC-S, LCSW, LICSW, or LCSCW licensure (state-specific)
- valid NPI number
- malpractice insurance
- ability to launch or grow a private practice by accepting insurance
- credentialing in multiple states in approximately 30 days
- ability to work with insurance networks including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid
- experience or capability with in-network practice and private-practice growth
- Headway platform familiarity or willingness to use built-in EHR, scheduling, messaging, and documentation features
- availability to receive bi-weekly payments
- ongoing CEUs via Headway Academy
