Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapist position focused on expanding or launching a private practice through Headway’s platform. Responsibilities include getting credentialed for free in multiple states within ~30 days to start accepting insurance, building in-network client flow with Medicare Advantage and Medicaid plans, and leveraging Headway’s built-in tools (EHR, scheduling, client messaging, documentation templates, assessments) to manage a practice. The role emphasizes credentialing, in-network insurance participation, and earning stability with bi-weekly payments, while supporting providers’ ongoing CEUs via Headway Academy. Applicants should be fully licensed at the Master’s level or higher in relevant LMHC/LPC/LIMHP/LMFT/LCSW-type licensure, possess a valid NPI, malpractice insurance, and be prepared to establish or expand a private practice within Headway’s network.
Required Qualifications
- Fully-licensed Mental Health Therapist at Master’s level or above with LMHC, LPCMH, LIMHP, LMFT, LMFTS, LCMFT, LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LCPCS, LPCC-S, LCSW, LICSW, or LCSCW licensure (accepted on a state-by-state basis) and a valid NPI number, plus malpractice insurance
- Ready to launch a private practice or grow an existing practice by taking insurance
- Must be fully licensed (as noted) to work with in-network plans and accept insurance
