Fully remote licensed mental health therapist (independent contractor) for BetterHelp: provide therapy to adults, couples, or teens with autonomy over clinical decisions; operate from a private, professional home office; platform handles admin and overhead; no fees deducted; insurance and cash-pay clients available; flexible schedule; bonuses available for early/insured client sessions; expected experience includes 3+ years and a Master’s or Doctorate in counseling-related field; must hold an independent license and liability insurance; U.S. residency with private workspace and reliable internet.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of mental health counseling experience
- Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy
- Fully independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.)
- U.S. residency
- Private workspace and reliable internet
- Professional liability insurance
Additional Requirements
- Interns or individuals requiring supervision to provide therapy services cannot be providers
- Substance abuse counselors, school counselors, career counselors, Christian counselors, and business coaches are not accepted unless they have an additional license as a mental health counselor
