Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments, risk evaluations, and diagnostic reviews for children and adolescents. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy alongside clinical case management, outreach, and crisis intervention services. Coordinate patient transitions, admissions, and referrals with medical and support staff while maintaining progress notes in the EMR. Manage utilization reviews, precertification, and concurrent reviews to support treatment goals. Serve as a patient advocate and liaison with physicians, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related counseling field
- Current Montana LCSW, LCPC or LMFT licensure
- Experience providing therapy to children and adolescents
Desired Qualifications
- Three years of fully licensed LCSW, LCPC or LMFT experience
- RQI Responder within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care whichever comes first
- Possess knowledge of evidenced based practice and experience in assessment, crisis assessment, brief therapies, and clinical case management
- Ability to analyze, intervene and evaluate a range of psychosocial theory and methods as applicable to assigned area(s)
- Possess knowledge of cultural, ethnic, social, historical and spiritual issues relevant to the provision of mental health treatment as applicable to assigned area(s)
- Experience and/or knowledge of behavioral health disorders and treatment modalities
- Promotes excellence through setting high standards and providing high quality outcomes
- Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and exhibit empathy
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently
- Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed
