Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LCSW) in McLean/Arlington area. Responsibilities include conducting culturally sensitive assessments, providing outpatient individual and family therapy, developing crisis/safety/wellness plans, participating in case consultations and discharge planning, ensuring proper billing and documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic mental health care. Qualifications require a master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field and a current active license in Virginia and/or Maryland (or eligibility by hire). Required Qualifications
- Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Must hold a current and active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or be eligible for licensure by the time of hire
- Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development in mental health including continuing education
- Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently
Additional Requirements
- License in Virginia and/or Maryland or eligibility for licensure by time of hire
- Must be a licensed mental health professional in VA or MD at time of hire
