Job Summary
Provide outpatient individual and family therapy with culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for diverse clients. Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans; participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning; ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and administrative staff to deliver holistic mental health care and support clients in their therapeutic journeys.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Must hold a current and active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or be eligible for licensure by the time of hire
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently
