Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapists provide outpatient individual and family therapy, conduct culturally sensitive assessments, develop crisis/safety/wellness plans, participate in case consultations and discharge planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality mental health care. The role emphasizes growing clinically under supervision, maintaining documentation and insurance authorizations, and contributing to a supportive clinical environment. Requires a master’s or doctoral degree and an active license (or eligibility) in VA and/or MD.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Must hold a current and active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or be eligible for licensure by the time of hire
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience providing outpatient individual and family therapy (preferred)
