Job Summary
Provide outpatient individual and family therapy, conduct culturally sensitive assessments for new clients and families, develop crisis and wellness plans, participate in case consultations and discharge planning, ensure timely billing and documentation, and collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and administrative staff to deliver sustainable, high-quality mental health care while supporting licensure and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Current and active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or eligibility for licensure by time of hire
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in mental health
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently
