Job Summary
Provide outpatient individual and family therapy, conducting culturally sensitive assessments and developing crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans. Actively participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning; ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorization. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and dietitians to deliver holistic care. Requires a master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health field and an active license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or eligibility by hire. The role emphasizes growth, supervision opportunities, and a supportive environment for ongoing professional development and licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Current and active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or be eligible for licensure by time of hire
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in mental health and continuing education
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality
