Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW/LMFT/LPC) in Fairfax area delivers outpatient individual and family therapy, conducts culturally sensitive assessments, and develops crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans. Works with a clinical team to coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other professionals; participates in case consultations, discharge planning, and insurance/documentation processes; emphasizes collaborative, client-centered care and ongoing professional development. Required Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Current and active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or eligible for licensure by time of hire
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice
- Experience providing outpatient individual and family therapy and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
