Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW/LPC/LMFT/LCP) in the Fairfax area, joining Columbia Mental Health within Transformations Care Network. Provide outpatient individual and family therapy, conduct culturally sensitive assessments, and develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and administrative staff; participate in case consultations, meetings, and discharge planning; ensure timely billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization. Opportunities for leadership/supervision and ongoing professional development; base compensation ranges per billable unit reflect market competitiveness. Requires master’s or doctoral degree and active license in VA/MD or eligibility by hire.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Current and active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or be eligible for licensure by the time of hire
