Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health in a hybrid role (4 days on-site / 1 day remote) delivering individual and group psychotherapy to adults (and some adolescents) using CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed approaches. You will conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop person-centered treatment plans, and collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and peers in interdisciplinary team meetings. Responsibilities include leading process, psychoeducational, and skills-based groups, providing care coordination with families and external providers, completing clinical documentation on time, and participating in an after-hours crisis on-call rotation. The schedule is Monday–Friday, with one remote-flexible day per week and ongoing opportunities for professional development (including EMDR if applicable).
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field
- Active, independent licensure in DC: LPC or LCSW
- Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health treatment
- Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care
- Comfort with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Experience with — or genuine interest in working with — both adults and adolescents
