Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) - Spanish-Speaking Female Needed in Union County

Job Summary
Provide individual in-home therapy, group therapy, telehealth, and outpatient center sessions for youth with mental health disorders in Northern New Jersey. Deliver bio-psycho-social assessments when applicable and support coping, social skills, anger management, and reduction of risk behaviors (e.g., SIB, aggression). Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals, complete intake, treatment plans, DAP notes, and other required documentation; participate in monthly meetings. Role supports after-school hours (12 noon–8pm) with minimum caseload expectations and opportunities for training in assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Crisis Intervention Training (training or willing to complete)
- Post-internship field experience with youth with mental health disorders and clinical experience
- Experience creating treatment planning, treatment goals, progress notes, initial assessments
- Proficiency with CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response approaches
- Knowledge of DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Available 6-10 hours per week during after-school hours (12 noon–8pm) with weekend flexibility a plus
- Must maintain a minimum caseload of 2–3 clients for part-time staff
- Experience with positive behavior supports
- Experience working with children ages 3-20 and with I/DD is a plus
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship (no H-1B sponsorship)
- Within 25–30 minutes of service areas
- Resume plus copies of master’s degree and NJ license/certification
