Job Summary
Provide in-home and telehealth therapy for youth (3-20) in New Jersey, perform bio-psycho-social assessments, deliver individual in-home therapy and telehealth sessions, teach coping/social skills and anger management, reduce risk behaviors, collaborate with CF-TM and other professionals, complete intake/treatment plans/notes within deadlines, participate in monthly meetings, and be willing to train for assessments; requires a master’s degree, relevant licenses/certifications, background checks, NJ driver’s license, and ability to work 6-10 hours weekly after school (12pm–8pm) with a caseload of 2–3 clients for part-time staff; compensation is $60-$75/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Crisis Intervention Training
- post-internship field experience with youth with mental health disorders
- experience creating treatment planning, treatment goals, progress notes, and initial assessments
- experience with CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response
- DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- valid NJ Driver’s License
- ability to pass state/federal background checks
- pre-employment drug screen
- authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
