Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) - Needed in Hunterdon County

Job Summary
Provide in-home therapy for youth with mental health disorders in Northern New Jersey, with telehealth options where center access exceeds 30 minutes. Deliver individual therapy, conduct bio-psycho-social assessments, and support coping, social skills, anger management, and reduction of risk behaviors. Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals, complete intake and treatment planning documentation, attend monthly meetings, and maintain clinical notes. Eligible candidates hold a master’s degree in a behavioral health field with an active New Jersey license and may use telehealth; role requires 6-10 hours/week after-school (12pm–8pm) with a 2–3 client caseload for part-time roles; state background checks and a post-offer drug screen are required; sponsorship for H-1B is not available.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
- Active license in New Jersey (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, LSW, LFT)
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Crisis Intervention Training
- Experience with youth with mental health disorders
- Experience creating treatment planning, goals, progress notes, and initial assessments
- Experience with CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response
- DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Available for 6-10 hours per week after-school hours 12noon-8pm
- Maintain minimum caseload 2-3 clients for part-time
- Experience working with children ages 3-20, and I/DD is a plus
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Pass state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without current/future visa sponsorship (no H-1B sponsorship)
- Within 25-30 minutes of service areas
