Job Summary
Part-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) providing individual in-home therapy, group therapy, Telehealth, and outpatient center sessions for youth in New Jersey; responsibilities include conducting bio-psycho-social assessments when applicable, delivering coping/social skills training, anger management, and reducing risky behaviors; collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team; complete intake, treatment plans, DAP notes, and other required documentation; maintain a caseload of 2–3 clients and working 12pm–8pm after-school hours; requires Master’s degree and relevant clinical training, with licensure/credentials (LSW/LAC/LFT) and NJ driver’s license; compensation: $60-$75 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Crisis Intervention Training or willingness to train
- Post-internship field experience with youth with mental health disorders
- Experience with treatment planning, goals, progress notes, initial assessments
- Experience with CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response
- DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Available 6-10 hours per week after-school hours 12noon-8pm; weekend flexibility a plus
- Experience with children ages 3-20; I/DD a plus
- New Jersey Driver’s License
- Background checks compliance
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (no H-1B sponsorship)
- Within 25-30 minutes of service areas
