Job Summary
In-home and telehealth therapy for youth in Southern New Jersey, delivering individual services, conducting bio-psycho-social assessments, and supporting caregivers. Provides coping skills, anger management, and behavior support to reduce risk behaviors, collaborates with the Child Family Treatment Team, maintains timely clinical documentation, and participates in monthly meetings. Requires a master’s degree in a relevant field, licensure or credentials (LSW/LAC/LFT or equivalent), Training in trauma and crisis intervention, DSM-V knowledge, and the ability to work 6–10 hours weekly after school with a 2–3 client caseload; NJ driver’s license and state background checks are required. Telehealth option available as needed; compensation ranges from $60-$75 per hour with benefits for both part-time and full-time considerations; located in Bridgeton, NJ with proximity considerations for service areas.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields (e.g., LSW, LAC, LFT)
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Crisis Intervention Training (training or willing to complete)
- Post-internship field experience with youth with mental health disorders and clinical experience
- Experience creating treatment planning, treatment goals, progress notes, and initial assessments
- Experience with counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response
- Knowledge of DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Available for 6-10 hours per week during after-school hours 12noon–8pm; weekend flexibility a plus
- Caseload management for part-time staff (2–3 clients)
- Experience with positive behavior supports
- Experience with children 3-20 and I/DD is a plus
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Background checks required
- Pre-employment drug screen required
