Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Part-Time) needed for in-home and telehealth therapy for youth in Southern New Jersey. Provide individual in-home therapy and telehealth sessions, conduct bio-psycho-social assessments, help youths and caretakers with coping/anger management/behavior reduction, collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team, and complete required documentation (intake, treatment plans, DAP notes). Must hold a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy or related fields and have relevant licensure or eligibility (LSW/LAC/LFT). Requires trauma counseling training, crisis intervention training or willingness to complete, post-internship field experience with youth, experience with CBT/REBT/Gestalt/DBT/Trauma approaches, DSM-V knowledge, NJ driver’s license, background checks, and ability to work 6–10 hours weekly after-school (12–8pm) with possible weekend hours; caseload 2–3 clients; in-home visits in Willingboro, NJ area; telehealth as needed. Hourly pay range $60-$75 with benefits; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Crisis Intervention Training (training or willingness to complete)
- Post-internship field experience with youth with mental health disorders
- Experience creating treatment planning, treatment goals, progress notes, initial assessments
- Experience in CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma-Focused approaches
- Knowledge of DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Availability for 6-10 hours per week after-school hours 12pm-8pm; weekend flexibility a plus
- Caseload of 2–3 clients for part-time staff
- Experience with positive behavior supports
- Experience with children ages 3-20; IDD a plus
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Resume and copies of master’s degree and NJ license/certification
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship currently needed
- Willingness to work in-home and via telehealth
- Compensation: $60-$75 per hour
