Job Summary
Part-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) delivering in-home and telehealth therapy to youth in Southern New Jersey. Key responsibilities include individual in-home therapy and Telehealth sessions, bio-psycho-social assessments (training provided), coping/social skills development, anger management, reducing self-injurious or aggressive behaviors, and improving caretaker–youth decision-making. Collaborates with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals; completes intake, treatment plans, DAP notes, and mandatory clinical documentation; attends monthly meetings. Must have a master’s degree in a related field, hold applicable licenses (LSW/LAC/LFT), and be familiar with DSM-V; proficient in CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and trauma-focused approaches. Requires NJ driver’s license, background checks, and ability to work 6-10 hours weekly during after-school hours (12–8pm) with weekend flexibility. Compensation: $60-$75 per hour. Employment supports professional growth, PTO/Sick time, health coverage, disability, and 401K. Eligible candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Crisis Intervention Training
- Post-internship field experience with youth with mental health disorders
- Experience with treatment planning, goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments
- Experience with CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response
- Knowledge of DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass state and federal background checks
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship (no H-1B sponsorship)
- Available for 6-10 hours per week after-school hours (12noon-8pm); weekend flexibility a plus
