Job Summary
Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, providing tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on unique needs. Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans while actively participating in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning. Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms through collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and administrative staff. Deliver mental health care in a sustainable, personalized environment supported by a clinical and administrative team, fostering client resilience within a diverse local community.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Must hold a current and active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or be eligible for licensure by the time of hire.
