Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapist position at Columbia Mental Health (Transformations Care Network). Provide outpatient individual and family therapy, develop crisis/safety/wellness plans, participate in case consultations and discharge planning, and collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and administrative staff. Requires a master’s or doctoral degree in a related field and an active license in VA and/or MD (or eligibility by hire); roles emphasize culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments, documentation and billing accuracy, and ongoing professional development. Required Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Current and active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or eligibility for licensure by time of hire
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in mental health
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and delivering ethical care
