Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides comprehensive mental health care to patients with emotional, behavioral, or psychological challenges. This role delivers evidence-based individual therapy; conducts psychosocial assessments; develops treatment plans; and collaborates with interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include performing clinical assessments, intake interviews, and mental health evaluations; developing and implementing personalized treatment plans and goals; providing individual therapy using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care); monitoring client progress and adjusting interventions; maintaining accurate clinical documentation and treatment records; collaborating with neurologists, medical staff, and support providers to coordinate care; ensuring compliance with ethical, regulatory, and documentation standards; participating in case consultation, supervision, and team meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
- Active South Carolina professional license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Proven experience providing therapy in clinical or medical behavioral health settings.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills.
