Job Summary
Provide behavioral health screening, individual and group psychoeducation, and skills-based interventions for detainees under supervision. Monitor and assess therapeutic support for segregated and isolated detainees while coordinating with custody and medical staff on treatment management. Assist in the stabilization of at-risk detainees and support county behavioral health services for continuity of care and discharge planning. Complete documentation for referral tracking and continuous quality improvement. Maintain a valid driver's license and operate a motor vehicle. Requires a Master's degree in a Behavioral/Social Science field and current licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a Behavioral/Social Science field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, etc.)
- CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to practice independently
Desired Qualifications
- Current licensure with clinical specialty from the appropriate state licensing board
