Job Summary
Provide behavioral health screening of detainees referred by facility staff or identified through booking or nursing services. Deliver individual and/or group psychoeducation and skills-based interventions while monitoring and assessing therapeutic support for segregated and isolated detainees. Coordinate with custody and medical staff to manage treatment for behavioral health concerns and support county behavioral health services in stabilization and discharge planning. Complete documentation for referral tracking and continuous quality improvement under supervision. Maintain a valid driver's license and obtain CPR certification prior to hire.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a Behavioral/Social Science field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, etc.)
- CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to practice independently
Desired Qualifications
- Current licensure with clinical specialty from the appropriate state licensing board
