Job Summary
Provide individual and group substance use treatment as part of an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team for adults with serious mental illness; deliver intensive services primarily in clients’ homes and community settings; conduct comprehensive clinical and substance use assessments; develop and implement individualized, integrated treatment plans addressing mental health and substance use; participate in daily ACT team meetings and collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, vocational, and peer support staff; assist clients in accessing community resources, building natural supports, and achieving recovery goals; maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with agency, regulatory, and payer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current LMHP licensure in Virginia: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCSW
- Licensed Mental Health Professional - Resident
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker- Supervisee
- Experience providing substance use disorder treatment
- Ability to work independently in community settings and travel throughout the service area
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Commitment to person-centered, recovery-oriented care
