Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance abuse assessments, diagnose clients, and develop individualized treatment plans with dated signatures. Deliver individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and support to clients and families across residential, outpatient, and inpatient settings. Debrief patients and staff following safety events or Code Atlas incidents to ensure clear communication with the treatment team. Provide clinical supervision to residents and social work supervisees where licensed and supervised hours are completed. Serve as a preceptor to student interns to ensure effective therapeutic programming implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP)
- Experience providing comprehensive mental health and/or substance abuse services
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for behavioral health needs
- Experience providing individual and group therapy
- Experience with crisis intervention
- Experience supporting clients and their families
- Ability to foster a therapeutic environment that promotes recovery and well-being
- Ability to create a safe and therapeutic environment that fosters mental and emotional well-being
- Experience serving as a preceptor to student interns and staff
- Experience ensuring therapeutic programming is effectively implemented
- Experience completing biopsychosocial assessments
- Experience developing individualized treatment plans
- Ability to ensure final review through a dated signature for treatment plans
- Experience debriefing patients and staff following safety events or Code Atlas incidents
- Experience ensuring clear communication with the treatment team regarding major incidents such as elopements, therapeutic holds, injuries, or seclusions
- Experience providing clinical supervision to residents and social work supervisees
- Completion of supervision hours
- Registration with the board
