Job Summary
Senior Care Therapy seeks licensed mental health professionals to provide individual and group psychotherapy for geriatric residents in subacute and skilled nursing facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. Responsibilities include conducting psychotherapy, assessing and diagnosing emotional/behavioral health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, cognitive decline), developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans, collaborating with facility staff and families, maintaining accurate regulatory-compliant documentation in an EHR, and monitoring patient progress. Flexible full-time or part-time roles with 32- to 40-hour weeks, uncapped FFS bonus opportunities, sign-on bonuses up to $6,000 for FT, and comprehensive benefits. Licensure, English proficiency, and ability to provide in-person services at facilities are required; typical benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, malpractice insurance, PTO/holidays, CEU reimbursement, and mentorship/training. Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the applicable state
- Effective oral and written communication in English
- Basic proficiency with technology including electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to regulatory compliance
- Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes
- Full vaccination and booster status may be required in some facilities
