Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Remote) sought to launch or expand a private practice with Headway. The role focuses on credentialing for insurance networks, enabling in-network care, and accepting insurance to grow a private practice. The provider must be fully licensed (LMHC, LPCMH, or LIMHP) with a Master’s level education, have a valid NPI number and malpractice insurance, and be able to work within Headway’s nationwide credentialing network. Headway offers built-in EHR features, scheduling, secure client messaging, end-to-end documentation templates, built-in assessments, CEUs through Headway Academy, and predictable bi-weekly payments. The position emphasizes taking insurance, staying compliant with audits and regulations, and serving clients through an extensive insurance network including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid; applicants should be licensed to practice and eligible to credential across states.
