Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) remote opportunity with Headway. Help providers launch or grow private practices by enabling insurance acceptance, credentialing, and access to a national network. Responsibilities include coordinating credentialing in multiple states, enabling in-network reimbursements with plans like Medicare Advantage and Medicaid, ensuring compliance, managing built-in EHR tools (scheduling, client messaging, documentation templates, assessments), and providing access to Headway Academy for CEUs. Offers include dependable bi-weekly payments and seamless insurance processing to see insured clients sooner. Must hold a Master’s degree or higher with an LMHC/LPCMH/LIMHP license, a valid NPI, and malpractice insurance. Fully remote opportunity with Headway’s platform and support for practice growth.
Required Qualifications
- fully licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) at Master’s level or above with LMHC, LPCMH, or LIMHP licensure (state-based)
- valid NPI number
- malpractice insurance
- willingness to launch or expand private practice
- ability to take insurance/in-network with Headway
- credentialing in multiple states
- compliance and familiarity with insurance networks (Medicare Advantage and Medicaid)
- built-in EHR features experience
- capable of managing scheduling and client communications
- CEUs and continuing education access
