Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Counselor LMHC needed for a remote telehealth role serving clients in Florida. Provide individual therapy via secure telehealth, conduct intake assessments, create and monitor treatment plans, and apply evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT-informed skills, solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care). Maintain timely clinical documentation in an EHR, assess safety/crisis needs, and communicate treatment goals and next steps with clients. Requires active Florida LMHC license, Master's degree in a related field, and comfort delivering therapy remotely with strong clinical judgment and professional communication. Salary $115,000–$120,000 annual plus full benefits; remote work setting with a Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule; location: Lakeland, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Florida LMHC license in good standing
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field
- Experience providing therapy to adults, adolescents, couples, or families preferred
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Strong clinical judgment and professional communication
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Reliable internet connection and private workspace for client sessions
- Knowledge of HIPAA, state licensing rules, and ethical telehealth practices
