Job Summary
Remote telehealth Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida providing counseling services to clients across Florida. Responsibilities include conducting new client intakes, assessing symptoms, functioning, risk factors, and treatment needs; preparing individualized treatment plans with measurable goals; delivering therapy sessions using appropriate clinical methods; maintaining organized, accurate documentation; reviewing client progress and revising treatment plans as needed; following safety protocols for crisis situations; and ensuring HIPAA compliance and adherence to state licensing standards. Requires active Florida LMHC license in good standing and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with remote work setup and full benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Florida LMHC license in good standing
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience providing therapy to adults, adolescents, couples, or families preferred
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and professional communication
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for client sessions
