Job Summary
Join a clinician-led organization as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) where you will evaluate mental health conditions, develop treatment plans, and provide excellent care to clients. You'll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, participate in clinical meetings, and benefit from full administrative support. This role requires a Master’s degree in a behavioral science, unrestricted licensing (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT), and proficiency in electronic health records. Experience in a clinical setting and strong communication skills are vital.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college/university
- Full, current, unrestricted license to practice independently (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)
- Experience with electronic health records and completing clinical documentation
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience and willingness to work collaboratively and creatively to meet necessary deadlines
- Comfort and familiarity working with clients with a diverse range of problems or concerns
- Ability to pass a background check in a way that confirms safe care
- Demonstrate and model stable and appropriate boundaries with clients
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in community, group, or private practice mental health
- Currently paneled or credentialed with insurance network
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency
- Specialty area of practice
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain at least 32 available hours for patient care per week
