Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) needed to provide individualized, group, and family therapy to older adults as part of CHE Behavioral’s multispecialty behavioral health team. Responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, developing and modifying individualized treatment plans, delivering counseling services, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement comprehensive care, maintaining accurate patient records, and participating in quality improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling or related field
- New York State License to practice as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mental health setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)
