Job Summary
Provide community-based, face-to-face clinical assessment and rapid response to children, adults, and individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or ASD in active crisis situations. Serve as first responder in homes, residential settings, schools, hospitals, jails, and social service environments across Richmond County and surrounding areas. Maintain 100% mobile response capability with a valid, unrestricted driver's license, driving safely during day, night, and adverse weather conditions. Complete 40-hour full-time shifts on rotating schedules including Sunday to Wednesday and Wednesday to Saturday rotations. Submit current resume, cover letter, and three professional references; hold a Georgia license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, MFT, or LMSW) and valid CPR certification. Minimum one to two years clinical behavioral health experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in mental health in the state of Georgia
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Master's degree from an accredited school with a valid license in the state of Georgia as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
- Associate level license (LAPC, LAMFT, and LMSW)
- Valid CPR certification
- Minimum one to two years' clinical behavioral health experience
- Experience in assessment, crisis intervention and stabilization skills
- Familiarity with mental health, addictive disease, and Intellectual or Developmental disability service delivery system
- Ability to respond quickly, professionally, and compassionately
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license
- Ability to drive in a car for the duration of their assigned shift
- Ability to drive at any time of day or night
- Ability to drive safely and without restriction for length, duration or condition of the drive
- Ability to drive in heavy traffic or other adverse weather conditions
