Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) wanted to join Headway's platform to launch or expand a private practice and start accepting insurance. Role supports credentialing for free in multiple states, in-network with major plans including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid, and features like built-in EHR, real-time scheduling, secure client messaging, end-to-end documentation templates, built-in assessments, and CEUs via Headway Academy. Providers receive bi-weekly payments and can grow their practice using Headway's nationwide insurance network. Must be fully licensed (LMHC/LPCMH/LIMHP) with valid NPI and malpractice insurance. The posting notes Headway can’t support professionals who aren’t fully licensed at this time.
Required Qualifications
- fully-licensed Mental Health Counselor
- LMHC, LPCMH, or LIMHP licensure (state-specific)
- valid NPI number
- malpractice insurance
- licensed to practice in one or more states
- private practice setup or growth experience
- ability to accept insurance/allow in-network with Headway
- credentialing in multiple states (within ~30 days)
