Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Counselor needed to launch or expand a private practice using Headway’s platform. The role emphasizes getting credentialed to accept insurance across multiple states, increasing earnings with higher insurance rates, and leveraging Headway’s built-in EHR, scheduling, secure client messaging, and documentation templates. The provider should be fully licensed (LMHC, LPCMH, or LIMHP) with a valid NPI number and malpractice insurance, and able to work with major plans (Medicare Advantage/Medicaid). Bi-weekly payments and access to Headway Academy for CEUs are offered to support ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Master's level or higher in Mental Health Counseling or related field
- LMHC, LPCMH, or LIMHP licensure (state-accepted)
- valid NPI number
- malpractice insurance
- willingness to launch or grow a private practice and accept insurance
- credentialing for free in multiple states (within ~30 days)
- ability to work with plans most clients use (e.g., Medicare Advantage, Medicaid)
- capability to receive bi-weekly payments
- experience with EHR features (scheduling, secure client messaging, end-to-end documentation templates)
- CEUs and continued professional development access
