Job Summary
Part-time Independent Contractor Behavioral Consultant providing in-home behavioral services for individuals with developmental disabilities in San Diego County; conducts Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develops Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP); provides hands-on training and guidance to individuals, families, caregivers, and staff; collaborates with schools, agencies, and funding sources to ensure effective service delivery; supports crisis intervention and behavior management within home and community settings; completes required documentation and monthly service reports; requires licensed clinician (LCSW, LMFT, PsyD/PhD) or BCBA; bilingual English/Spanish a plus; travel within San Diego County up to 1 hour for in-home consultations; flexible schedule Monday–Friday; independent contractor role (no benefits; mileage not reimbursed).
Required Qualifications
- Licensed clinician (LCSW, LMFT, PsyD/PhD) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring diagnoses
- Strong background in behavioral assessment, intervention, and crisis support
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Independent contractor position (no benefits; mileage not reimbursed)
- Travel within San Diego County (up to 1 hour) for in-home consultations
- Participation in at least one monthly clinical meeting
