Job Summary
Facilitate clinical management of student-athletes through evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, and referral, providing individual, group, and crisis intervention while coordinating outpatient visits and monitoring high-risk patients. Develop treatment plans consistent with CAMHS policies, supervise trainees from the Sports Medicine LMHC program at Boston University, and partner with the Sports Medicine team to conduct screenings and provide psychoeducation. Manage caseloads, document all patient contacts accurately, and make appropriate referrals for behavioral disordered eating, substance addiction, and performance issues. Participate in quality assurance activities, adhere to HIPAA and NCAA regulations, and complete required training. Full-time seasonal role from August 1 – May 31 with a seasonal leave from June 1 – July 31.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience
- Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) with current Massachusetts License
- Certified in first aid, CPR and AED
- Must be available for some travel
- Must be able to work in a non-Harvard location (hybrid)
- Must comply with work location sponsorship requirements
