Job Summary
Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress while conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions with an incarcerated population. Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans and developing additional mental health curriculums. Collaborate with the clinical and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, including discharge planning. Licensed clinicians will supervise 1-3 pre-licensed mental health clinicians through weekly supervision, consultation, and documentation reviews. This role supports Monterey County Jail in Salinas, CA, focusing on developing mental health curriculums and assisting in the growth of pre-licensed practitioners.
Required Qualifications
- Unrestricted licensure in the state of CA (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Licensed Psychologists or Pre-licensed Clinicians)
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy
- Proficiency in conducting individual and group therapy sessions
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- 3 x 12 hour shifts available
