Job Summary
Deliver individual, group, and family counseling services while completing documentation for clinical records, including Individual Service Plans, psychosocial assessments, and daily notes. Respond to community crisis calls within 60 minutes, 24/7, conducting assessments, safety planning, and de-escalation to ensure client safety. Develop comprehensive social histories and care plans, mediate issues among patients and staff, and coordinate visits and referrals. Conduct risk assessments, complete mandatory evaluations and Baker Acts, and plan discharges to ensure continuity of care. Ensure all shift duties are completed in accordance with WestCare procedures and facility procedures.

- Must be culturally/linguistically sensitive to populations served
- Ability to obtain and maintain clearance from DCF
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCare's vehicle insurance
- Two (2) years of experience in behavioral health crisis services
- Graduation from an accredited master's program with a degree in Addiction Counseling, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Must hold a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and be in good standing
- Some travel is required
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years of supervised social work experience in a health care setting, working directly with individuals is preferred
- Familiarity with Miami Dade County
