Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Licensed Medicare Agent who will guide clients through Medicare plan options, enrollment decisions, and long-term coverage strategies. Key responsibilities include educating clients on Medicare Parts A, B, C, D, and Medicare Supplement options, conducting needs assessments, presenting unbiased plan recommendations, assisting with applications, maintaining client documentation, and providing ongoing service support. The role requires strong communication skills, deep knowledge of Medicare, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships while ensuring compliance with CMS and carrier regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York Life & Health Insurance License (required)
- AHIP certification (or willingness to obtain annually)
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Medicare sales, health insurance, or a related advisory role preferred
- Strong communication and consultative selling skills
- Ability to explain complex Medicare concepts in a simple, clear manner
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and compliance requirements
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and managing multiple client relationships
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
